Returning samples to lab FAQ:s

  1. On the left-hand side of the sample kit, you should see the words, "Instructions, open here".

You should be able to "peel off" the outer layer of the carton by pulling gently but firmly on the tab. Once pulled off, the return address will be visible, along with instructions. The return package is the same carton you received the sampling kit in; there is no separate package inside.

  2. Post the sample in the return parcel in a post box.

If the temperature is below zero, the blood samples must be sent from the post office. This doesn’t cost extra.

Bacterial vaginosis and Candida samples are given to postmen at temperatures of 25 degrees or more outdoors.

  3. We recommend you wait at least 14 days for the sample to reach us. Don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department if you need help.

  4. Return the sample the same day you took it. Avoid posting it the day before the weekend or holiday as no deliveries take place during the weekends.
