Upset stomach, tired, and depressed? It could be anything really. But it could also be coeliac disease (gluten intolerance) causing your discomfort. Coeliac disease is a common disease, which, unfortunately, is often overlooked since it is a disease with diffuse symptoms. Anything from vague to extremely severe discomforts that significantly compromise quality of life.
With our new test for coeliac disease (gluten intolerance), there is no need to wait any longer. You’ll get your test results within 6 days of us receiving your test. The test result is 99% accurate and the analysis can both rule out and be used to diagnose coeliac disease.
In order to receive an accurate diagnosis, it is important that you still eat foods that contain gluten (found in wheat, rye, and barley). You can only conclude coeliac disease, i.e. establish whether you are gluten intolerant, if you actually eat gluten! This applies to all tests, even those carried out at places of healthcare and, of course, our home tests.
Everything you need to take this test is in the package: sampling materials, instructions, and analysis code. Note: the analysis code is a valuable document; you must have your analysis code in order to retrieve your test results. Without a code, the test is considered used up.
The analysis results you receive are not merely yes or no answers. There are many different answers and each answer contains recommendations prepared in consultation with a specialist in coeliac disease. Please note that a final diagnosis must be established by a doctor.
The analyses performed on the blood sample include the following: 1) Heredity for coeliac disease (HLA-DQ2/DQ8 genotype), 2) serological markers of coeliac disease (tTG-IgA), and 3) level of total IgA.
