STI FAQ:s

1. I suspect that I contracted an STD. When can I test myself?

   You must wait at least 7 days from the suspected date of any possible infection, before testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea or trichomoniasis. In the case of mycoplasma, you must wait at least 14 days from the suspected date of infection.

2. I have had an STD in the past and have been treated for it. Can I take another test to se that the infection is really gone?

   You can take another test to confirm that the infection is gone from three weeks after completing treatment.

3. When will I get my test result?

   Normal delivery time is 3 working days after posting the sample. Analysis takes 1 working day.
