Frequently asked questions

How is Dynamic Code affected by the covid-19 pandemic?

Due to a high workload right now test results may arrive a couple of days late. We ship all parcels with PostNord; please note that PostNord has currently indicated deliveries may take longer than usual. You can find the latest information regarding PostNord’s shipping status here. We are continually monitoring the situation; if new information, directives or conditions arise, we will act accordingly.

Order your sampling kit

  1. You pay using Klarna and choose between the following options: invoice, card or instalment payments. If you choose to pay via invoice or instalments you can manage your payment under “My account”.

  2. No problem. Click on “change address” at checkout and change the address to the one you want the sampling kit to be delivered to.

  3. We process your order on the same day or the following day, so we may be unable to stop your order being dispatched. When your order is delivered, send your order number and the 10-digit, 4-letter codes that you will find on the packaging to our customer services department. You need to open the sample kit to see the code. When our customer services department receives the codes and your order number, we can process the return and refund.

Take the sample & save the code

  1. On the left-hand side of the sample kit, you should see the words, "Instructions, open here".

You should be able to "peel off" the outer layer of the carton by pulling gently but firmly on the tab. Further instructions for storage of the sampling kit are written on the inside of the outermost layer.

An instructional film for locating the sampling instructions is available here:

  2. Each sample has a unique access code to ensure that no-one but you can access your sample results. For your personal protection, and to ensure your privacy, there is only one copy of each analysis code. In order to ensure that your sample results are anonymous, your analysis code is the only way to access your sample results.

  3. The analysis code consists of 10 digits and 4 letters. It can be found on the bottom of the package leaflet included in your sampling kit.

  4. We recommend that you don’t take the sample if you are experiencing a heavy flow. You can take the sample at the beginning or the end of your period or anytime if you have a light flow.

  5. We recommend that you don’t take the sample during treatment. Wait at least three weeks after treatment is finished before taking the sample. Ask your GP for advice if you’re not sure.

Send back the sample to our lab

  1. On the left-hand side of the sample kit, you should see the words, "Instructions, open here".

You should be able to "peel off" the outer layer of the carton by pulling gently but firmly on the tab. Once pulled off, the return address will be visible, along with instructions. The return package is the same carton you received the sampling kit in; there is no separate package inside.

An instructional video to prepare the box for return is available here:

  2. Post the sample in the return parcel in a post box.

If the temperature is below zero, the blood samples must be sent from the post office. This doesn’t cost extra.

  3. We recommend you wait at least 14 days for the sample to reach us. Don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department if you need help.

  4. Most samples can be posted no matter what the temperature is, apart from blood samples which must be sent from the post office when the temperature is under zero.

The result is ready

  1. Enter your analysis code (10 numbers and 4 letters on the bottom of the leaflet on your sample) on our website (https://www.dynamiccode.com/en/get-test-result) and press “Get result”.

  2. You can only download your certificate once. Make sure you save your certificate as soon as you download it. If you’re having problems, don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department, who will be happy to help.

  3. The complete report with administrative information costs 250 SEK. All information regarding your result already appears on the website, what is meant by administrative information is when the sample was received, when the result was ready and which method was used for the analysis. You will therefore not lose any information regarding the result if you choose not to purchase the complete report. The complete report is available in Swedish or English.

  4. We do not send your results to your home, or to any other physical location. Instead, you can access your results at our website by using the anonymous code you received with the sampling kit.

Advice & treatment

  1. When you check your result on our website (https://www.dynamiccode.com/en/get-test-result) you can also search for care or advice. We work with digital care providers who can help you with e-prescriptions or refer you to a care provider. You can print out your result and bring it with you to the appointment.

STI FAQ:s

  1. We recommend that you don’t take the sample if you are experiencing a heavy flow. You can take the sample at the beginning or the end of your period or anytime if you have a light flow.

  2. Normal delivery time is 3 working days after posting the sample. Analysis takes 1 working day.

  3. Insert the sample stick around 5 cm into your vagina. Press the soft part of the sample stick against the vaginal wall and rotate it 4–6 times. Let the sample stick dry for at least 3 minutes. Don’t allow the soft part to come into contact with anything. Put the sample stick back in the tube and fasten the stopper securely. Done!

  4. Taking a sample with a vacuum tube: Collect the first urine in the sample tube or any clean container. Put the sample tube in a glass or similar container so it doesn’t tip over. Put the transfer straw under the surface of the liquid in the urine sample. Put the vacuum tube in the transfer straw’s holder and press firmly so the end penetrates the seal of the vacuum tube and urine is sucked into the tube. Keep pressing the vacuum tube against the transfer straw until the vacuum tube stops filling. Remove the vacuum straw. Pour out the remaining urine and discard the sample tube and transfer straw.

    Instruction video:

Swab sample: Unscrew the top of the sample tube, where you will find a sample stick to suck up the urine with. Collect the first urine by urinating on the soft part of the sample stick. This part sucks up the urine. Put the sample stick back in the sample tube. Screw the lid on firmly, rinse the sample tube, and dry.
